Can I start with just one tank?

Yes. One active tank is free, with water tests, maintenance logs and basic reminders. Add your tank first and record a test whenever you are ready. Pro unlocks more tanks and additional tools.

Does TankRoutine measure my water?

No. You enter readings from your own test kit or thermometer. Color indicators compare recorded values with the targets you set; they are not live monitoring or a guarantee that your water is safe.

Does it work offline?

Your core records are stored on your device and can be viewed and added offline. App Store purchases, update checks, cloud file access and external links may need an internet connection.

Will my iPhone and iPad sync automatically?

No. Each device keeps its own records. You can manually export a backup to iCloud Drive through Files and restore that backup on another device. This is a file backup, not continuous synchronization.

Is Pro a subscription?

Pro is a one-time in-app purchase. The App Store shows the current price in your region before you buy. Use Restore purchases with the Apple Account used for the original purchase.

Can I take my records with me?

Yes. Export a backup for restoring your records, including tank photos. Pro also offers CSV exports of water tests and maintenance for spreadsheets. A CSV export is not a full restorable backup.
